#TASTEOFSTTHOMAS Conductor's Choice

Our railway city is about to host a delicious day highlighting local farms and culinary influencers that we can't wait to be a part of. With stops at some of our favourite local businesses, including Las Chicas Del Cafe, Wildflower Farms, and Quay Du Vin. With food from the most talented chefs around including Salt and Pepper Meals, Elgin Harvest, Orchard Hill, The Windjammer Inn, Helm Baked, and ourselves, it's promising to be a day your tastebuds won't forget. 

September 22nd will start with brunch and coffee at the CASO Station, followed by a train ride with Salt and Pepper Meals and Railway City Brewing to Wildflowers Farm. There, you'll learn about the art of the apiary and enjoy a tea sampling. Then join US back on the train for another food and beer pairing as we make our way down to Port Stanley. A wine tasting is next, with food and drinks at Quay Du Vin, before a cocktail style dinner back in St.Thomas at The Railway Museum. 

Tickets can be purchased through The Railway City Tourism office and are available for the day tour, evening dinner, or the whole event.

Thanks you for joining us for our grand opening

We want to thank everyone for joining us for our grand opening. It was an overwhelmingly successful day and we are so happy to be part of this community. 

This day was not just about chocolate because all the proceeds of macaron sales went directly to our Friend Tyler Warren, battling grade IV Glioblastoma, a very rare form of brain cancer. Ty has been fighting for 4 years against this terrible disease, undergoing multiple brain surgeries, rounds of chemo and radiation, and several trial treatments. And now it time to look into more treatments that are extremely costly. 

With your help we ended up raising $4,600. From macarons sales, to raffle tickets, to donations, we were blown away with the generosity shown. There was around 500 people here throughout the day and we doubled our original fundraising goal. 

So thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone who came out to show support.

Winning Silver at the Canadian National Competition

We are so excited to announce that our Red Wine Cherry chocolate won a silver medal at the Canadian National Competition of the International Chocolate Awards. This year, we submitted four items. All our entries made it in as finalists for judging before the grand jury, with these bonbons taking home a medal. 

We are so proud to have this chocolate qualify for the International Chocolate Awards, taking place in London, England. Due to shipping issues, our submission never made it to the competition. This is just driving us to work hard over the next year developing new recipes, flavour combinations, and designs. 

Keep an eye out for these, they will be hitting our shelves soon.

Pastries in Streamliners espresso bar

You can now get Seed Confections everyday! Currently, our shop is only open on Saturdays, but we have a selection of pastry items now available at the newly opened Streamliners Espresso Bar, located at 767 Talbot street, St.Thomas. Macarons, chocolate chip cookies, and gluten free chocolate chip cookies are in stock now, with new items in development and making a debut soon.
